Welcome

   Welcome to Melanie's and my new blog. For a few years we have wanted to go through my book, The Element  Encyclopedia of Magical Creatures by John and Caitlin Matthews, and randomly pick a creature and both attempt to draw it simply based off of the description and then compare the two images. So we finally have time to attempt this project and decided to share it with everyone as we do each challenge. So we hope you enjoy our fun journey of art and learning about some pretty awesome creatures and folklore.
